January Update

Hello from Project Atchison!

I hope you all had a great holiday season.  I also hope that one of your New Year's resolutions was to get more involved in your community!  We would love to have your help with our upcoming events.

What are we up to next?

• Join us at the Atchison Event Center for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7pm!  All are invited, and input is welcome for upcoming events.

• PorchFest - May 10 from 2-6pm. Free music from local bands on local porches! We are looking for bands willing to play and here is the link to the application for bands to join. If your organization wants to partner with us for the event please let us know - we are looking for porch sponsors to pay sound personnel.  Vendors can apply at the link provided.  We will also be looking for volunteers to help on May 10!

• Music Bingo Fundraiser for PorchFest - Thursday, January 16 - Servaes Brewing Co. (118 S 2nd St).  We will have live music (in the spirit of PorchFest) along with Music Bingo.  The bingo cards are $5 a piece and go towards PorchFest.

• Exterior home repair projects - We will be looking for projects to help those that are unable to work on their homes due to disability or financial hardship.  Please contact us if you have a need or know someone that does.
