December Update & Meetup

Hello friends,

November was a big month for Project Atchison and you all showed up in a huge way.

Thanks to an awesome crew of volunteers, we were able to rake and collect leaves for more than 20 homes on North 4th Street during our Rake It Forward project. Special shoutout to John Peterson for bringing the serious lawn equipment that helped us knock it all out in a little over four hours.

In the end, we filled 30 mega bags of leaves, all of which were taken to be turned into fermented fertilizer. That’s cleaner yards for our Atchison Porchfest neighbors and less waste in the landfill — a win-win for the whole community. Huge thanks again to our North 4th Street homeowners who graciously open their porches to us year after year.

And now… we’d love to see YOU tonight.

🕠 Tonight from 5:30-6:30pm at Servaes Brewing Company. Join us for a beer or a non-alcoholic root beer. And if you have kids, bring them along! There is a play area in the corner of the brewery to help keep them occupied.
