August Updates

Greetings from Project Atchison!

I am excited to share some upcoming projects with you.

• Our next meeting will be Tuesday, August 2 at 7pm. The meeting will be held at Riverbend Bible Church, 410 Commercial Street. Please enter on the west side of the building at the glass door. This meeting will be our annual election of officers and board members. We will be electing President, Vice-President, Treasurer and two open general board positions. Attached is a document outlining the requirements for the positions.

• Park workday! - Wednesday, August 17 from 9-noon we will be coordinating service projects at various parks in Atchison county. We will have several student volunteers from Benedictine College, but if you are interested in volunteering please sign up using GivePulse: https://givepul.se/nn3gnx We are also looking for leaders to lead groups of students, so please let me know if you are interested in doing that.

• The Atchison Area Community Foundation Match Day! - Friday, August 19 we will be available at the Atchison Event Center from 4-6pm in order to collect donations and get the word out about what Project Atchison does. Click here for more information.
